Brea's first day!

Today was Brea's first day back at preschool. She slept in late--something she NEVER does--so it was a mad rush to get all of us out the door and to school on time. We dropped Brooklynn off first and then headed to the other side of town to Brea's school. When we got into her classroom, she yelled, "Hi!" It was so cute. She got right down and started playing with one of her teachers. She was excited to be back, I think. AFter dropping her off, I figured the baby and I would come home and get tons of things done. Didn't happen. He had other plans! He wanted my full and undivided attention now that the girls were gone. But it was fun. I love Bubba and me time. When I picked Brea up, I heard that she had put some cookies to her mouth and that she walked a little on her walker. Her teachers were impressed with her use of words and the progress she's made since her last time there. But her physical therapist is worried about the way her head is leaning to the left almost constantly. It could be vision related but we're not sure yet. If we can't fix it with the stretches that her therapist suggested, then she'll most likely have to wear a brace to correct it. So we'll be working extra hard to try to make sure that doesn't happen. I'm just so thankful that Brea has this special school to go to to help her with her needs. (Wow, that was a lot of 'to's.) The teachers there are super nice and extra caring. It's such a blessing. We have high hopes for Brea's new school year! Walking and eating are our main goals. Wish her luck!

What a blessing to have such a neat school nearby! I'm so glad you have that extra help and support.
It's so fun to hear about the things Brea is doing - she has grown and changed so much since we last saw her. She has come so far! Good job Mom.
